This is a list of things I would like bake! Some recipes are new techniques and some things are just super cool. I see recipes all the time that I want to try on blogs, in cookbooks, and by tasting other's goodies. I am constantly inspired to try new things and push my own baking ability! I'll let you know when I make them!

If you have never been to Levain Bakery Cookies, you MUST go. Probably the best cookie I have ever had! The cookies are huge and delicious. When I saw this post, I knew I had to try it! My roommates cannot wait for me to try these either! As a bonus, making these cookies are an excuse to buy a kitchen scale.

2. Hi Hat Cupcakes - Bakerella
These cupcakes simply look really, really cool. They are the kind of cupcake you make with no other reason but to impress family, friends, co-workers, etc. I like to be impressive, simple as that! I love the way Bakerella dips so many different things in chocolate and they all look perfect.
3. Macarons

Macarons seem a little complicated, but ultra fancy! I've never had one, so I suppose i just find one, buy it, and eat it, before I start making my own. Apparently, these little cookie guys are all the rage in the baking blog-o-sphere. Tartellete seems to be the expert on macarons and she has her recipe and specific directions here. I like the idea of being able to use ganache or butter cream or other fillings. Another reason to buy that kitchen scale...

Whoopie Pies are high in the cuteness factor. I've looked at this book numerous times and I definitely hope to own it one day. To start though, this recipe looks pretty good. These cookies/pies are definitely trendy right now and like jumping on the bandwagon for those sorts of things!
